LUCIDITY HEALTH LLC

Our Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Purpose

Lucidity Health uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support our administrative operations and clinical documentation. We believe AI can improve efficiency and the quality of your experience with us, and we are committed to using it responsibly and transparently.

How We Use AI

AI tools may assist with drafting clinical documentation, summarizing lab results for provider review, generating patient education materials, and supporting administrative operations. AI is never used to make clinical decisions on its own.

Our Human Oversight Commitment

Every AI-assisted clinical document, note, or patient communication is reviewed, edited as necessary, and approved by a licensed provider before it becomes part of your care or is sent to you. No AI tool at Lucidity Health may independently initiate patient communications, generate prescriptions, order labs, or make clinical recommendations. Your provider remains fully responsible for every clinical decision made in your care, regardless of whether AI assisted in drafting supporting documentation.

Your Information and Privacy

Any AI tool that may process your protected health information operates under a signed data protection agreement consistent with HIPAA requirements. Sensitive information, including mental health, substance use, and sexual health information, is never entered into AI tools without the same protections. Your information is never used to train public AI models.

Your Rights

You have the right to request that AI tools not be used in the drafting of your specific clinical communications, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate that request. We will never use AI to make autonomous decisions about your eligibility for care, prescription approval, or access to services.

Our Commitment to Fairness

We are attentive to the risk that AI systems can reflect bias present in their training data. Our providers are responsible for critically evaluating AI-assisted outputs for potential bias, particularly around dosing, lab interpretation, and recommendations for patients from underrepresented populations, and we monitor for patterns that would require us to change how a tool is used.
